College Park
College Park is the locus of The Woodlands' academic and suburban pursuits. Highway 242 is the main thoroughfare for College Park, allowing easy access to the St. Luke's Medical Center complex, the Lone Star College, major retail stores that include, Wal-Mart, Lowe's, Burlington Coat Factory, Kohl's, and Garden Ridge Pottery, as well as a wealth of retail centers and an abundance of coffee shops and eateries.
Neighborhoods
There are a few neighborhoods surrounding the College Park complex. Both Windsor Hills and Windsor Lakes are retirement communities. Harper's Landing is a large family neighborhood. Harper's Landing features a children's recreational park complete with water park play area and a swimming pool.
Shopping/Hospital/Hotels
College Park has a vast number of banks, boutiques, salons, restaurants and retail stores. College Park is also the home of the St Luke's Hospital complex and professional buildings, as well as a few hotels.
Schools
The Woodlands is part of the Conroe ISD public school system. College Park is the location of the College Park High School, which is situated just across Highway 242 from Lone Star College.
